MTT, a well-established reagent, is widely used to ascertain cell numbers across a spectrum of applications. Living cells metabolize MTT into a deeply pigmented formazan product. Once solubilized, the absorbance of this formazan product can be quantified using a microplate absorbance reader. This comprehensive kit is designed to perform cell-counting assays, with the capability to detect cell populations ranging from 2,000 to 250,000 cells, contingent upon the specific cell type and experimental conditions.
